App Review: Ibotta

You probably have heard about the new coupon application, Ibotta. There is a lot of hype about it and I can tell you it is worth it. Ibotta is an application for your smartphone that allows you to save money on groceries, pet items, restaurants, electronics and much more.

Here is how it works:

  •         Browse the application for offers you want (there are many to choose from)
  •         Unlock rebates by either reading a few facts, watching videos, or by taking a poll. All of these will take a few seconds of your time.
  •         Head on down to the store and purchase your unlocked items. Once you check out, take a photo of your receipt.
  •         Wait for your hard earned cash to show up in your account. This usually takes a few hours, at most.
  •         Once you get $20 in your account, you can choose from a variety of gift cards, PayPal, or Venmo.

What’s cool about Ibotta, is that you can combine coupons with the application. Yes, you heard that right! You can save even more money than you would with regular paper coupons.

Amanda’s Experience & Proof of Payment

Personally, I have nothing, but great things to say about Ibotta. It is not like the other applications that only have pricey items that you buy every once in awhile on it. They have products such as milk, bread, eggs, cheese, and other items you use daily. Ibotta is not like some other apps that want you to buy things that you normally wouldn’t buy on a good day. Not to mention, they do offer online rebates too, which is nice. I would highly recommend this application to anyone that is looking to increase their savings further along side couponing.
