5-Minute Prep: Ranch Crockpot Pork Chops

It’s a new year, which means a new time to look for some amazing recipes, am I right? Well, today, we have a great one for you. It is known as the Ranch Crockpot Pork Chops. 

I will tell you a huge secret: this recipe we will talk about today will be a game-changer in lazy cooking.

We love lazy cooking around here. You know the cooking where you can throw this together quickly and get on with your day, but the food tastes like you’ve been slaving away in the kitchen all day! 

We’ve done so many crockpot recipes already, but a few notable ones that are very popular on the blog is: 

Now, today, we got another to add to the ranks. This one I didn’t get inspiration anywhere from this. I just decided to see how this would work. 

What Do You Need?

You only need to grab one below the Hidden Valley Ranch packet. They are fairly inexpensive at your local grocery store. 

Grab yourself a pound of pork chops. The ones I like to use for the crockpot are the assorted pork chops. 

Optional: You can brown your meat before putting it in the crockpot if you would like.

Instructions on Cooking Ranch Crockpot Pork Chops

Put your pork chops in the crockpot. While doing that, you can season with a bit of salt and pepper and start generously sprinkling the Hidden Valley Ranch packet throughout your pork chops. Do not be afraid to overdo it. There is no overdoing it with this recipe, I promise. 

Now you can either cook it on low for about 6-8 hours, or you can cook it on high for 4-5 hours. I always opt-in to cook mine on low because they are so much more flavorful and tender rather than cooking it on high, but if you only have a few hours until dinner, do high.

How Was It?

They were great! I would add a bit of extra seasoning on top of the Hidden Valley Ranch packets to give it a bit of extra flavor. But other than that, I think it was a great meal, and it only took about 5-minutes to dump it in the crockpot and
