Crockpot Lemon Pepper Pork Chops
It’s been a minute since I posted a recipe review. The last one was the perfect whipped cream one nearly 6 months ago! Oh!
So, if you are like me, which I think most of us are the same, you hate to cook. You hate that dinner comes around every night, and you never have any good ideas, so you either call your local pizza joint or get tacos. I am not here to judge because I am right there with you.
What Do You Need?
However, hoping I could cut back my love for pizza or tacos, I decided to scour the net for some good, easy meals to make. I stumbled upon the ‘Crockpot Lemon Pepper Pork Chops.’
I am all for using the crockpot now. I love it. I can’t tell you enough good things about it. It’s so easy that you can plop it in and forget about it until it’s time to chow down. Granted, it takes all day, but if you work from home like me, all day doesn’t mean anything!
Enough rambling on with my love for the crockpot and needing to cook diverse meals.
Here is what you will need for this recipe:
- Bone-in Pork Chops
- Lemon Pepper Seasoning
That is it! This recipe is not a bank breaker, either. You can save loads of money just by doing this recipe too.
You mix those two items in the crockpot, throw them in the crockpot and forget about them until dinner. Not hard at all. If you don’t know how long you should cook it, you cook it for about 4 hours on high and 6-8 hours on low. This is a common time and temperature per pound of pork chops. I recommend doing slow and low; they turn out A LOT more tender, but high does work in a pinch, and they still turn out great.
How Was the Crockpot Lemon Pepper Pork Chops?
Was it worth it? I can say it was okay. Was it the best thing I’ve ever had? No, but was it still pretty tasty? Of course! But there are some things that I would change to make it a bit better to my taste.
I like things to have a little bit more seasoning. I decided to make this over again, adding a bit of season salt and garlic to the mix of lemon pepper. It had a bit more flavor this time and was much better. I recommend adding more seasoning to them if you want more flavor. Other than that, it was great, and I would make it again!
