Amanda, What Is Your Take on the Econo Lodge Sevierville?
Now that I have given you all the information, you need to see if the Econo Lodge Sevierville is the hotel for you. You are probably wondering about my experience.
Did I like it?
Was it worth the money?
Will I be back?
Well, the first thing is first. I want to be completely upfront with you guys. I read the reviews just like everyone else. I didn’t just pick this hotel due to the insanely low price.
I saw that the reviews stated this facility had upgraded rooms. Was this true? Yes. I also saw that the reviews stated that the rooms had rock-hard beds. Was this true? Heck yes. I also read reviews that said this place had minimal parking due to the renovations/construction going on in the hotel. Was this true? Yes.
The beds were the only thing I would complain about when it came to the Econo Lodge Sevierville. The beds were insanely firm. It was like sleeping on the floor, to be honest. But most nights I was there, I was so tired that it didn’t matter to me anyway.
I want to point out one thing that ruffled my feathers as I checked in for my room at 8 pm, and the front desk clerk said my room wasn’t ready. Mind you; I’m from Central Florida, so driving to Tennessee was a good 12 hours (with eating and stopping for gas). I was a bit peeved at this since the check-in time started at 3 pm, and I was ready to get in my room and lay down.
But other than that, the room was adequately cleaned. Not to mention the room was also newly renovated, and it looked very nice. I liked that the room didn’t have carpet, so it made the room feel much cleaner.
Final Verdict
All in all, the only thing I had to complain about was the beds and the room not being ready. Everything else was excellent.
So was it worth the money that I paid for the room? Heck yes!
Would I be back? Most likely if it is around the $50 mark. It was great not to be in the hustle and bustle of the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area. And it wasn’t that bad of a drive, either.
If you stayed at the Econo Lodge in Sevierville, I want to hear your thoughts! If you have other recommendations for hotels in the area, I also want to hear your thoughts!
