As many of you know, I’ve gotten back into playing video games in my spare time, thanks to my boyfriend. I’ve even got my steam account too! Honestly, I probably shouldn’t have one since I tend to put tons of things on my wishlist and randomly purchase games here and there and everywhere! But, I was able to curb my appetite just a bit with Humble Bundle.
What is Humble Bundle?
If you are an active gamer, you know having tons of games is usually a must. Unless you are like me and have a handful of games you will never get bored of, no matter how long you play. *cough* Stardew Valley *cough*
Humble Bundle is a service where you can either do a few things.
The first thing you can do is subscribe to their monthly service. This service is $12 a month, but you get a handful of PC games a month (priced over $100) and access to their trove, which offers DRM-free games. You also can enjoy 10% off in the Humble store too!
The second thing you can do is purchase their bundles. Each month, they have about 6 bundles to pay what you want. The proceeds go to a charity you select. Their bundles can be anything from software and books to various games.
Is Humble Bundle Worth the Price?
In my honest opinion, it is worth it. It was worth the $12 a month. To be frank, it is probably underpriced with what you get. Each month you get about nine games or so. These games range from well-known top-rated games to indie games, so you’ll always have something to play.
I ended up stopping the subscription because I was getting more games than I had time for, and my computer couldn’t handle half the games. Once I upgrade my laptop (hopefully very soon), I will start my subscription again because it’s one of the best subscription services.
