Pros of Working at Home

You’ve seen many benefits to working at home, which is probably why you’ve stumbled upon this blog to find yourself a new job to quit your darn 9-5.

Not Having to Go to Work

Of course, the main perk to working at home is not having to go to work in a traditional sense. Yes, you get to roll up to your computer with your bedhead, pajamas on, a cup of coffee in one hand, and a pastry in the other hand.

That’s probably what is drawing you into this fantastic field.

Saving Money & Time

The next best benefit you’ll see posted around social media is you get to save money and time. You no longer have to commute to work. You no longer have to waste money on work clothing, shoes, business lunches/dinners, and all that good stuff.

Flexible Schedule

Let’s be honest with one another for a quick minute. No one wants to work. No one wants to be told when to work and how long you should be working.

We all have lives we want to live. We want to take those vacations, we want to have days off where we can hang out with our friends and family.

Having a flexible schedule can let us lead the life we want to live.

When you are self-employed, you get to work when you want to, but you are also responsible for your own taxes. Yikes!

Yes, you will owe Uncle Sam a good chunk of change at the end of the tax year.

Only the Strong Survive

What do you mean by only the strong survive, Amanda? Simply that. Only the strong will survive.

Working at home takes a lot of discipline. Not many people are self-starters. Not many people can function without someone looking over their shoulder.

If you know that you are the type that will put off work until you cannot any longer, working at home is not going to be for you.
