Perfect Whipped Cream: Is Homemade Or Store-Bought Better?

Perfect whipped cream has to be a staple in everyone’s house… Well, maybe not everyone’s house, but I know it is in my house.

You may ask, why didn’t I think about making whipped cream before? Why do I waste money buying store-bought products when you can make some that taste ten times better. Well, for one, I am lazy. I didn’t know HOW to make it and probably didn’t think I had the ingredients to make it.

Wait… You Can Make Perfected Whipped Cream at Home?

In short, yes, yes, you can! I didn’t know this until I was dying for some whipped cream and didn’t have any. Of course, it was on a day that I didn’t want to go to the store.

I don’t know where I would be without my sidekick, Google telling me all of these secrets I never knew.

What Ingredients Do You Need?

Please don’t be like me. Making homemade whipped cream, or what this recipe is known as “Perfect Whipped Cream,” is not complicated; there are a few ingredients.

All you will need is:

  • Heavy whipping cream
  • Sugar, honey, or maple syrup
  • Vanilla

If you just made the crock-pot pork chops with herb sauce, you’ll already have the heavy whipping cream!

Recipe Verdict

What I love so much about this recipe is it is simple. Nothing hard. Grab your mixer and just mix it until it turns into whipped cream. How much easier can it get? It takes 5 minutes, and you have the best whipping cream known to man.

I do highly recommend making your whipping cream at least once. If you are like me, you’ll never want to return to store-bought products!
